This scholarship was created in memory of Gerard J. Hutch. Mr. Hutch, who grew up in the Lovejoy section of Buffalo, developed an interest for the refrigeration industry and was so passionate about it, he started his own company. He was a tireless worker, an astute businessman and loved working for his customers in the restaurant and commercial end of refrigeration.
