This scholarship is intended to encourage students to pursue careers in Food Processing. In this effort, Western Association of Sanitarians (comprised of representatives from western New York food manufacturers) is proposing to offer a scholarship to a student who has demonstrated an interest in pursuing a Food Processing career. This demonstration is accomplished through the successful completion of BT 101 – Intro to Biomanufacturing and Food Processing and enrollment in BT 128 – Food Safety and Sanitation. This $600 scholarship is intended to cover the tuition and fees associated with enrollment in BT – 128.
