Gloria Lucker Endowed Scholarship

Gloria Lucker was an instructor at SUNY Erie (then Erie Community College) in the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Program when Frank Gainer was enrolled at the college from 1974-1976. Frank was an average student when he graduated high school. He found academics challenging. The OTA program changed all that. He found his passion and made the Dean’s List every semester. Gloria was in inspiration and the two have stayed in touch for the last 40+ years. This scholarship is in her honor to recognize an OTA who is from the LGBT community and/or military veteran. Two groups that are important to both Gloria and Frank.
