Tim Tevens Columbus McKinnon Scholarship (Endowed)

This scholarship was created to recognize Timothy Tevens and his service and contributions to Columbus McKinnon Corporation. Tim retired in February 2017 after 26 years of service to the company with 19 of those years having served as CEO. He had a significant impact on the expansion of Columbus McKinnon, including moving into new geographies, the development of new product lines, and the acquisition of key partners which has laid the foundation for the future growth. In addition to his significant professional achievements, Tim has been a life-long resident and contributor to the Western New York community. Among his many accomplishments, Tim started his secondary education at Erie Community College and went on to become a member of their board of directors. His background, educational history, hard work, and career trajectory is an example for all of us and for the next generation, to honor his legacy, this scholarship has been created in his name to provide opportunities for our employees’ families who want to start their educational careers at a local two year institution such as Eric Community College.
