Linde Skills Pipeline Scholarship - HVAC Technician

The Linde Skills Pipeline™ workforce development program provides funding to help train new technicians in a one year curriculum at SUNY Erie’s North campus. The program also provides funds for instructorships, continuing education, and professional development opportunities. This community engagement program was developed to help meet the strong demand for skilled technicians in Western New York and is an example of the company’s continued commitment to developing a robust pipeline of men and women in the skilled trades.

The decision to commit your time to furthering your education and future through this program is not made lightly, and we understand that there are many factors that are part of this decision. There are several short answer questions that are part of the consideration of your application. The review committee would like to hear from you, in your words, what factors have influenced your decision, about your goals, as well as a few other questions that may influence the program experience. We highly encourage you to thoughtfully consider each response.
Please note that these responses are used to evaluate your application, and should be approximately one paragraph for each question. If you do not answer or provide an incomplete answer to these questions your application will not be considered.

Students must apply for Financial Aid, however upon acceptance to the program and receiving this scholarship – students will decline State/Federal aid from all sources and this Linde Scholarship will pay out in full. That Financial Aid pool is to be saved for the future, in the event of a student choosin to return for continuing education in the future.
