The Patrick P. Lee Foundation Term Scholarship

It is hoped that students pursuing careers in the Engineering/Technology and Health Sciences fields will obtain full-time employment in the Buffalo-Niagara area upon completion of their program at SUNY Erie. This award assists students in achieving this goal.

ELIGIBILITY
1. Matriculated in Automotive Technology, Building Management & Maintenance, Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Aided Drafting/Design Technology, Construction Management Engineering Technology, Dental Laboratory Technology, Industrial Technology, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Radiation Therapy Technology, Respiratory Care_or_ Vision Care Technology
2. Students must currently be enrolled at SUNY Erie going into their 2nd year of a 2 year degree program, graduating May 2024 or August 2024
3. Minimum GPA 3.0
4. US Citizen
5. Financial Need Considered
6. Student expected to participate in their education in the amount of $250 per semester
7. Full-time student (Part-Time based on program Requirements considered)
8. Self Appraisal report due at the end of each semester (during award period)
9. History of community service preferred

This is a non-refundable scholarship. Scholarship pays for tuition, fees and books after financial aid and other funding.

Supplemental Questions
  1. Address why you chose your particular field of study in an essay of 250 words or more. Include a self appraisal report listing accomplishments during your first semesters of study which will be forwarded to the Patrick P Lee Foundation Office via the SUNY Erie Foundation Office.
  2. I understand I am expected to participate in my education by contributing $250 per semester towards my tuition.
  3. I understand there is a per student maximum award of up to $6,000 (up to $3,000/semester)
  4. I intend to obtain full-time employment in the Buffalo area upon completion of the program at ECC.
  5. If selected as a recipients, I MUST write an end of semester essay assessing what I've learned over the semester in December and May.
