Gary S. Krasinski Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was created to support students returning to school after a break, seeking to make a career change, or further their learning.
Gary made an unexpected but ultimately auspicious career change in his 40s after losing his job, and never looked back. He enrolled in the Clinical Lab Technology program at ECC where the new academic challenge ignited a latent passion for learning. Gary especially enjoyed working closely with his classmates and professors. His confidence soared with the support of his professors, particularly in the challenging first year. He was on the Dean’s List throughout the program and received his national phlebotomy certification.
Gary’s abbreviated but impactful time as a student at ECC is a testament to the fact that it is never too late to change direction in life. It’s our hope that this scholarship will help other prospective students uncover a new passion, no matter their age or circumstance.
