Statler Foundation Scholarship
For 24/SP Semester ONLY:
This scholarship assists students in the SUNY Erie Culinary Arts, Hotel Restaurant Management or Baking and Pastry Arts programs.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. No student will receive more than 2 (two) awards as a SUNY Erie student for a maximum total of $2,000.
2. Enrolled Full-time
3. Matriculated in a Hospitality Management curriculum (Hotel Restaurant Management 2457.FSA, Culinary Arts 578.CUL or Baking & Pastry Arts 1415.BPA)
4. Minimum GPA 2.50
5. Two letters of recommendation from responsible citizens attesting to your character and integrity (SUNY Erie faculty and current SUNY Erie students excluded)
6. Essay: List the extra-curricular or work activity you feel has contributed the most to your development (i.e. Community fundraising)
7. Essay: Provide your personal background, interests, etc (not more than 300 words) to include:
a. How did you become interested in the hospitality field (i.e. work experiences, family business)?
b. What do you consider key components for success in the hospitality industry (i.e. loyalty)? Explain
8. Must submit a Thank You note addressed to Professor Kristin Goss

- I understand that I must continue to meet ALL the eligibility requirements for the duration of my scholarship, including adhering to the Student Code of Conduct and maintaining or improving my academic standing. Should my actions be less than acceptable and/or I present myself, SUNY Erie or the SUNY Erie CC Foundation poorly (as determined by the Foundation), I may forfeit this award.
