The Trades are the Future Fund was created to highlight the numerous stable and high-paying career opportunities in the Construction Industry. As building systems become more complex and environmentally safer, the demand for skilled tradespeople, specifically HVAC Technicians, is growing every year. This one-year HVAC program will introduce students to the problem-solving skills required to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Ideal candidates enjoy hands-on problem-solving with motors, compressors, pumps, fans, thermostats, and control systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As New York State continues to emphasize its clean air initiatives, HVAC Technicians will be key contributors to the state’s success!

Financial Need Considered

The first-semester scholarship will cover up to ONE HALF (1/2) of the program tuition, and full tuition and fees coverage for the second semester, up to $6,000 total for the entire school year. This Scholarship is considered “last money in” and pays for any remaining tuition and fees after financial aid is applied! This scholarship is for tuition and fees ONLY.
