Gloria Lucker Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was created to honor Gloria Lucker. Ms. Lucker was one of Frank Gainer’s instructors in the ECC Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. She was a mentor and believed in him and his abilities. He has never forgotten that support. This scholarship is offered in her honor. This scholarship can be utilized for tuition & fees, books & supplies, computers & technology, and is refundable to the student.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. Matriculated in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program
2. Completed at least one semester at SUNY Erie
3. Be a member of the LGBT community or child of LGBT parent(s); AND/OR U.S. military veteran; or active reserve member (or National Guard); or legal spouse of military veteran
4. ESSAY of 300 words long: How being part of the LGBT community has impacted/affected my decision to become an OTA, or how being a veteran (or spouse of a veteran) has impacted/affected my decision to become an OTA.

This scholarship is REFUNDABLE TO THE STUDENT
