ECC Retirees Scholarship
Non-traditional students who have faced obstacles such as health, family, social, economic disadvantages. The scholarship aids a student who has completed one semester, minimum of 6 credit hours of college coursework.
$1,000/year for 2 consecutive years.
1. Essay: How my situation fits the scholarship criteria—overcoming obstacles related to health, family, social, educational, or economic disadvantages.
2. Minimum one semester of college coursework. (6 credit hours)
3. Financially Disadvantaged individual considered.
This is a 2-Year Scholarship that will automatically renew for the 2nd year if the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and must be enrolled in 6 credit hours or more. If there is a balance at the end of year 2 this will be refundable to the student.
