Pablo E. Pichardo Medina Memorial Scholarship

Pablo E. Pichardo was a mathematics professor at SUNY Erie Community College from 1991 to 2019. His dedication to his students throughout his time at SUNY Erie was unparalleled. Pablo spent Saturdays on campus tutoring students — any student — who appeared at his door, eager to learn. As a lifelong learner himself, Pablo supported students in their pursuit of an education through his selfless generosity. Pablo’s family hopes that education, which lifted him out of poverty, can benefit others in the same way. Pablo’s friendly, openhearted, and jovial personality will be missed by all who knew him.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. Minimum GPA 2.5
2. Must have completed at least one semester at SUNY Erie
3. Letter of recommendation from a SUNY Erie faculty member or department head/chair
